Last night we went on The Polar Express in Lubbock. Hayden had a blast! It was a very cold night but the train was warm and cozy. They passed out hot chocolate and cookies to everyone, sang Christmas carols, read the book, and played music from the movie. When we got to the North Pole Santa Clause and his elves were waiting for us to arrive. Then they got on the train and Santa talked with every boy and girl and passed out a "Bell". This was the first gift of Christmas from the movie. When Santa came around to us he asked Hayden what he wanted for Christmas and he told him a bell. Smarty. But then he told him that he wanted trains. Then they asked the kids to get in the isle if they wanted to dance. And of course Hayden didn't hesitate. One of the Elves saw Hayden and started dancing with him. He loved it. We are so glad that we went and hopefully it will return next year.
