Well, when Blaine came home from the fishing trip in Del Rio three weeks ago he decided to bring a kitty back with him that had made its way up to the house where they were staying. He couldn't just leave the kitty behind to starve, so he made a kitty carrier out of a beer box and brought her home (thank goodness for Miller Light!). When I picked Hayden up from school that day Blaine had put the kitty in the backyard so she wouldn't be around our cats since she hadn't had any type of shots and she was very little. We told Hayden that there was a kitty in the backyard and he got so excited. It was love at first sight for the two of them. She was so friendly - when Hayden would sit down and pet her she would either climb in his lap or fall down on her back so he would pet her tummy. We wanted to keep her, but we were leaving for Florida in a couple of days. Our neighbor's daughter Lisa ended up taking her home to Seguin, TX. She is in a great home with a great person. Lisa is going to bring the kitty back to visit Hayden in July and he can't wait to see her again! Here are a some pictures of Hayden playing with the kitty.

Ride'm Cowboy
Hayden loves wearing his cowboy hat. He has to wear it every time we go outside to play or work in the yard. The night before we left for Disney World, we just had a bath, he decided to get his hat out and ride his horse naked. Thought that you all may enjoy this picture, I know that we do.

Fishing Trip
Check out the pictures from Blaine's fishing trip. The athletic director from South Plains College takes all the coaches on a end of the year fishing trip when their seasons are over. Must be nice. They went to Del Rio and fished at Lake Amistad. Blaine caught the majority of the fish that day.
